Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic for Children and Adolescents with Eating Disorders (in Mental Health Services in the Capital Region of Denmark)
Mette is a specialist and supervisor in psychotherapy. She works with research and treatment of children and young people with eating disorders in the Mental Health Services in the Capital Region of Denmark. She is one of the leading specialists in Denmark and has contributed to the Danish Health Authority’s guidelines and reference program for eating disorders. In her work, Mette has a particular interest in creating knowledge about the children and young people, who do not benefit sufficiently from the existing forms of treatment. She is the leader of the currently ongoing research project, VIBUS, investigating the treatment outcomes of family-based treatment to families suffering from eating disorders. Dr Bentz will contribute with her clinical expertise and extensive research knowledge in the field of eating disorders amongst children and adolescents.
